What is your full name: Nicole Marie Lawrence
Do you have a nickname: No
    How old are you: 16
Where do you live: Columbia, MO
What is your favorite food: Pizza
What is your favorite color: Green
Do you have any lucky numbers: 586
When you show, do you have any superstitions or luck charms: I just like to have my friends watching and cheering- it helps a lot if I am nervous in the ring!

What hobbies do you have other than riding horses: I like painting model horses in my free time.
    What grade are you: 11th
What do you want to be when you grow up: Right now, probably a horse trainer or assistant.
What is your favorite color for a horse? Dark bay
What was the name of your first Pony or horse? If you showed then, in what division did you show? I've never had my own horse, but my first true love was Cozmo (Cosmic Wonder), at Stephen's College. I did a few academy shows with him, then the Arabian English Pleasure classes.
Who was your first trainer: Brenda Benner
List your current horses ponies etc: The horses I have showed since starting riding with Stephen's (fall 2003):
Callaway's Town Crier- chestnut ASB gelding- he was the first horse I ever showed with Stephen's and was a good confidence booster.
Mountainview's Wild Reviews- chestnut ASB gelding- I only showed him once at the Boone County Fair, but he was very fun and nice to me when I was so nervous
Cosmic Wonder- bay Arabian gelding- my favorite horse ever! I love riding him, he was such as challenge last fall, and it took me nearly a year to learn to ride him. He has always been a bit naughty, but takes care of me when it counts. He even let me show him at Huntsville with a broken wrist!
What is your current Trainer's name: I ride with Stephen's College right now. In the fall of 2003 and Spring of 2004, I was coached by Lynn Frazee. I had a great summer at Wildwood Farm and was coached by both Heather Drummon and Lynn. As of Fall of 2004, I am coached by Sharon Backer at Stephen's College. They all teach very differently, but they each have many great techniques and tricks to help me.
What is your favorite Horse Show: Calvary Episcopal- it is always so much less stressful than the others!
What is your funniest, most embarrassing moment: When I was showing Mountainview's Wild Reviews at Boone County, I was extremely nervous because I didn't want to hurt my wrist even more that it was already. I was so nervous I could barely function and thing, but "Dodger" was a star and carried me through my classes almost perfectly. Somehow we won the Open English Pleasure class out of nine or ten!
What was your proudest moment in riding/showing? The proudest showing moment for me was when I won my first blue ribbon on "Cozmo" (out of academy) at Calvary 2004- I thought I was going to cry!
I was also very, very proud of Cozmo at Huntsville 2004 when, in a very chaotic Open English Pleasure class, when things got crazy, he got over his shying and running sideways game and refused to take me anywhere but safe spots on the rail.
Future Plans and goals: I hope to ride Dodger more this winter and hopefully show him successfully in Spring 2005 in Juvenile Country Pleasure.
